How it went
What turned out to be the best fun of this winter?
— Dad was first onto the ice and held on to the barrier longer than anyone. — The best hill took three tries — behind the garages, and it belonged to another yard. — Four of us built the fort; by the evening there were twelve people in the yard. — We went out half an hour early for the fireworks, froze, and got the best spot in the yard.
